The Billingshurst Neighbourhood
Wardens have been a welcome sight around the parish providing reassurance to
residents of all ages and dealing with local issues ever since the Warden
scheme commenced during the summer of 2018.
It has been all change recently as at the end of 2024, one of our Wardens moved
on to pastures new and in January 2025, our lovely Julie Green retired and we miss her very much. We are however delighted to welcome Maria and
Louisa who joined Billingshurst in early 2025.
The ladies bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience as both have been Wardens in other schemes in the Horsham District; they are now working on some exciting ideas and plans for Billingshurst!
The Wardens often arrange sessions for our younger residents at weekends or
during half terms and school holidays - more info on this will be advertised at
the time on the Newsfeed section of this website or on our social media pages.
For our older residents, the Wardens hold regular Friday coffee mornings
at the Billingshurst Centre between 10am & 12 noon and frequently attend
meetings or activities of local groups.
Contact info for the Wardens can be found HERE and their monthly reports can be viewed further down this page on the drop-down
menu for each year. If you would like to know more about the service provided by the Wardens, you can click HERE for more info.
The dates/times of drop-in sessions are currently in the process of being
updated for 2025 and will be available on this page in due
course. If you are unable to make it to one of the drop-in sessions,
do give the Wardens a call as they will be happy to chat, and/or signpost where
the enquirer could go for assistance.
