CCTV project for Billingshurst

The Parish Council has embarked upon a project to install CCTV cameras in areas of public realm in the Parish. These will be in the main shopping area and some parks and open spaces.

Having given the go ahead in Spring 2025, work has now started on installing the first phase of 16 cameras.  The total project is likely to exceed £140,000 when completed.

Work is being undertaken by Tyco Integrated Solutions which is part of Johnson Controls.

Recordings will only be able to be (retrospectively) viewed by Neighbourhood Wardens or other Council Officers, with appropriate accreditation.
