As parishioners may remember, in the autumn of 2020, the Parish Council planted 27 new trees in and around the highway verges in the parish, funding the cost from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
The trees are doing extremely well, and it is great to see so many in blossom this spring. Each tree has been planted with a little watering tube at the base and we would be grateful if residents could, during the upcoming warmer months, help us by checking and watering the trees if they look as though they are in need of attention.
The Council also contacted BBC Countryfile last year, to add the 27 trees to their Plant Britain map. The map of tree locations is noted HERE
