A brand new
skatepark costing £140,000 was officially opened on Saturday 3 August 2024 as
part of a wider Family Activity Day at the site, and featured demos and
competitions by and for all ages and abilities.
The new facility was built following extensive consultation with a multitude of users and constructed by Fearless Ramps under the watchful supervision of Sports and Play Consulting Limited.
Horsham District Council approved the release of S106 funds generated by new development in the parish to fund the project.
The previous ramp was removed around Easter 2021 as it had exceeded its life expectancy and had become uneconomic to repair. The new facility is designed for all ages and abilities, whether on bmx, scooter, skateboard or rollerblade.
