Public Conveniences

The Parish Council provides the Public Conveniences in Mill Lane in the centre of Billingshurst. The facilities were refurbished in the latter part of 2017 as a result of a successful funding application of almost £50,000 towards the £67,500 total cost.

Residents and visitors have commented really positively about the refurbished facility, featuring three unisex cubicles, one of which is for the disabled.  The facility is open every day from 06:00 but due to anti-social behaviour, currently closes at 4pm, although the disabled toilet can be accessed 24 hours per day using a RADAR key.

The Council was delighted to have been awarded a Gold Standard in 2019 and following a few small changes, the facility was upgraded to the
Platinum Standard for Loo of the Year 2020, a standard it has retained ever since.
