The Fishing Lake project commenced in 2004 and was completed in 2006.
It involved the removal and shaping of some 8000 cubic meters of soil. The lake is fed by natural water flow from the ditch system draining the Jubilee Fields complex. There are 15 fishing platforms which surround a remote island, encouraging wildlife to colonise the area.
The project was approved by the Environment Agency and Entrust.
