Billingshurst Parish Council undertakes environmental cleansing services in the parish and employs two full time Environmental Operatives. 

Operating from a purpose-built garage at the Billingshurst Centre, their duties include all Council-owned open spaces, public toilets in Mill Lane and most areas of publicly-maintainable highway in the parish, for which a contribution is given by Horsham District Council.

The Council also has a contract to clean the privately-owned Jengers Mead shopping area.
