Congratulations to local Community Heroes!

Billingshurst Parish Council sends huge congratulations to wonderful Billingshurst residents Gordon and Sylvia Price, who won the Great Neighbour category of the Community Heroes Awards.
The BBC event, held at Lingfield Park Racecourse on Monday evening, saw awards given in eight categories, including Community Group, Young Hero and Animal. From helping with shopping, checking in on a daily basis with neighbours, tending gardens and helping to transport people to and from hospital, Gordon and Sylvia offer companionship, care and kindness.
It is no wonder that they were selected as winners in the Great Neighbour category of the Community Hero Awards. Please join us in celebrating their win, and thank them for making life better for our community.
