Billingshurst WI has been in existence for 106yrs and gives women a voice and to be a force for good in our community.

The WI is the largest women`s organisation in the UK and we pride ourselves on being a trusted place for women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.

Billingshurst WI are part of the West Sussex Federation, based in Denman House, Horsham who, in turn are part of our National Organisation which is based in London.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month – with the exception of August when we have a summer break. Meetings are held in The Stanley Room at The Billingshurst Community & Conference Centre and begin at 1.30pm lasting until 3.30pm.

We endeavour to have a mix of content at our meetings, including external speakers, Local Organisations, games and craft activities. Membership is currently £51 for the year, and you can visit our meeting for £5 per visit for up to 3 times per year to see if our organisation is what you want. The membership runs from 1st April until 31st March.

Becoming a member opens up lots of opportunities to take part in Federation and National events plus magazine publications from both. The key officers of our organisation are President, Secretary and Treasurer plus other committee members selected by the membership. We also have our monthly Round Robin, detailing activities, news and other items for our members to know.
