Parish Clerk

Parish Clerk Beverley Bell MILCM MIET IEng joined Billingshurst Parish Council in June 2007. 

Beverley had previously worked as a Parish Clerk for an adjoining parish for nearly eight years and was one of the first ten Parish Clerks in the country to attain the Certificate in Local Council Administration.  Beverley went to the DEFRA offices in central London to be presented with her certificate by Rt Hon Alun Michael MP.

Beverley has also worked for Horsham District Council in their Strategic and Community Planning Department for three and a half years helping the parishes in the Horsham district to create Parish Plans and as an advisor to the Local Strategic Partnership.

 Beverley is also the Secretary to the Horsham Association of Local Councils.
