TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION

Station Road, Billingshurst

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the use of

Station Road, Billingshurst at the level crossing is temporarily prohibited from 23.59hrs on 16th May 2013 to 05.59hrs on Friday 17th May 2013.

This closure is necessary to allow for essential level crossing maintenance.

It is anticipated the works will be completed in 1 night.

The alternative route for traffic will be via Lower Station Road, Natts Lane, Stane Street, Station Road and vice versa.

GRIT SUPPLIES

 West Sussex County Council do not plam to issue hippo bags of grit as at 08 February 2013.

Thank you for our Litter Wardens for using our limited supply of grit to treat Roman Way, High Street and East Street

The Parish Council's Winter Maintenance Plan asks for hippo bags of grit to be delivered to the following locations by WSCC:

Billingshurst Centre (formerly Village Hall) Roman Way

Forge Way (mid way)

Top of Mill Way/Coombe Hill junction

Morris Drive Green

Primary School Station Road

Silver Lane (third of the way from Station Road)
