Billingshurst Dramatic Society

The Billingshurst Dramatic Society was founded in 1941. Its
home is the atmospheric Women's Hall located in the High Street, complete with
1920s stage, where it usually produces two productions a year.
These have included classics such as The Crucible and Blithe
Spirit, comedies such as Noises Off and The 39 Steps, new writing such as
Humble Boy, and musicals such as Guys and Dolls and Sweet Charity. Rehearsals
take place at the hall on Mondays and Fridays.
The Society is made up of theatre enthusiasts from
Billingshurst and surrounding villages who participate onstage, backstage, and
on the technical side.
The Society is supported by Patrons who are offered priority
booking for both productions, and enjoy a Patrons' Party which is usually a
sketch based show and meal (and great fun).
We are always looking to welcome new members (no experience
necessary!) and expand our list of Patrons (if hands on isn't your scene). For
